#sALcollect2019-04-15T07:36:03+00:00

Our first MASSIVE load of hair foils; an amazing 20m3, took 14 months to collect and transport to the smelter… lets collect and process the next batch even quicker!!!

OVER 24M3 OF USED HAIR FOIL DIVERTED
FROM LANDFILL SO FAR (AND COUNTING!!!)

65 Salons currently participating in the #sALcollect campaign; from as-far-afield as Umina and Singleton, to Newcastle and Nelson Bay (and everywhere in between).

YOUR LANDFILL
NEEDS YOU NOW!

If you’re a hairdresser in or around the Central Coast/Hunter/Newcastle/Port Stephens areas of NSW and interested in joining the #sALcollect campaign; all you have to do, EACH TIME you have a collection ready, is to get in touch with our collection partners at Port Stephens Packaging (PSP).

No need to rinse the foils; just scrunch up and throw them into a bin liner.

Once you’ve filled the bag (or 5) with used hair foil; get in touch with PSP (using the contact form below) and organise your free #sALcollect pickup.

It all adds up, and every little bit counts…

IT’S A PEOPLE THING!

Add to the conversation and we’ll create a #sALcollect movement together!
Each time you fill a bag, or organise a collection with PSP, we’re encouraging participating Salons to use the#sALcollect hashtag.
And while you’re at it, tag our Instagram page #salamanderbayrecycling and our Facebook page @salbayrec and help spread the word.
It’s only the beginning of the journey… welcome aboard.

#sALcollect BECAUSE WE CAN ONLY DO, WHAT WE DO, BECAUSE OF YOU!

While you’re at it, why not tag our Instagram page @salamanderbayrecycling and our Facebook page @salbayrec and help spread the word?
It’s only the beginning; LET’S KEEP THIS INCREDIBLE RESOURCE OUT OF LANDFILL.
